A71. Tests involving an unstructured grid

The bathymetry in this set of tests involves a ring-shaped area around a circular island surrounded with circular depth contours. A program "Ringtest.for" calculates the nodal coordinates and the element structure.
The depth at the outer boundary (radius 1000m) is 10 m; the depth at the inner boundary (radius 14.78 m) is 0.1478 m.
The tests verify mainly several boundary condition options.

The following cases are considered:

computation of coarse unstructured grid with parametric boundary condition

computation of fine unstructured grid with parametric boundary condition
A71c
computation with a regular grid; the bottom values were generated in run A71a.
This run generates the boundary conditions for run A71d
A71d
computation of coarse unstructured grid nested in the previous regular grid
A71e
computation of fine unstructured grid nested in the previous regular grid;
this run requires interpolating in a nested boundary
A71f
computation of unstructured grid with constant parametric boundary condition defined along a segment; end points of the segment are defined with the XY option in counterclockwise order
A71g
computation of unstructured grid with constant parametric boundary condition defined along a segment; end points of the segment are defined with the XY option in clockwise order

computation of unstructured grid with variable parametric boundary condition defined along a segment; end points of the segment are defined with the XY option in counterclockwise order
