G02. Depth-limited wave growth

The computation simulates the growth of waves at constant limited depth. Results are obtained with stationary computation in an infInitely large uniform domain (runs G02a through G02g), by a non-stationary computation in an infInitely large uniform domain (runs G02t and G02u) and by a stationary fetch-limited computation where the result for very large fetch is considered (runs G02p and G02q).

The computational grid was adapted to the case at hand; the length of the grid was in the neighborhood of 10000 times depth.

The graph in file G02.plt Compares these computational results with data from Bretschneider (1973), Young and Verhagen (1996), and Holthuijsen (1980).
